It has been awhile since I have made a video on media servers and boy has this space changed. I no longer use any of the media servers I previously made videos on and my personal setup along with the devices I use has changed quite a bit. That combined with the fact that this was also one of the most requested topics from YouTube, I figured it was time to make an updated video.

In this video I show how to set up a basic Media server using a Windows 10 vm with 4 vCPUs and 4GB RAM, using Plex to handle the media server portion. I take you through the basic installation, configuration and a demo using a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and a Sony Playstation 4 over wifi.
