Samsung Note 2 Mobile Desktop with a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse and MHL

The Note 2 is the first phone that I have had that I can honestly say is impressively powerful. With its Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 and generous 2 Gb of RAM, speedy performance while multitasking is not an issue. Although that coupled with Samsung’s built in multi-window display is what really takes it to an entirely new level for Android. Not to mention the multitude of wireless options available from always on 3G/4G to 802.11a/b/g/n and bluetooth.

In this video I demonstrate how to hook up a keyboard and mouse via Bluetooth and then use a MHL cable to output the video to a 20″ Acer Monitor. The keyboard is made by Apple and the mouse is a cheapy off of ebay. For more info on the MHL cable, click here for my posting on that. It worked out pretty well in the end, although I wish Samsung went with a less clumsy option for video out. The features of the Note 2 really help it shine in a demanding application like this.
